Paul Rigby (Chair of the North West Area Board)

Paul was a bricklayer by trade but is now a full-time carer. Paul has been an active member of his Tenants and Residents Association for a number of years, and has experience of governance through his role as a parent-governor. Paul has been a member of LMH Board since its inception and has developed expertise in recruitment and procurement.

Since becoming a Board member Paul has taken part in many training events and Board away days covering a wide range of subjects. As a member of the pre-transfer repairs sub-committee Paul was involved in visits to potential contractors and travelled all over the country with other tenants looking at what prospective suppliers could offer. Post transfer, Paul is a member of the Audit and Risk committee and a member of the Repairs and Maintenance Working Group. 

Active in his community, Paul joined the LMH Board to ensure that the new organisation takes account of and involves the community. Paul has a special interest in the repairs and improvement programme and has direct experience in the building trade. Paul is Board Champion for Homes.
