About Work Clubs
Work Clubs are run by local people who want to help others from their community look for work and training. They are informal and normally meet on a weekly basis providing an opportunity to talk to others looking for work, share job hunting experiences and get advice on putting together job applications, CVs, interview techniques and complete job searches.
Work Clubs will offer unemployed people a place to meet to share contacts, networks, ideas, hints and tips and support each other through the job hunting process.
The Work Clubs can invite people and organisations to sessions to discuss particular issues raised by members such as computer training for on-line applications, support with reading and writing for example and these decisions will be made by the members of the club itself.
