It is vital that all aspects of the day-to-day running of LMH are conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements which will be monitored by the Tenant Service Authority. In simple terms, Governance is the way we run our affairs and maintain the highest standards.

How are we performing?
Listed below are our Year 1 targets and how we performed against them:
- Establish an annual Tenants Conference to address the needs and views of all (target met)
- Achieve compliance with the 'properly governed' section of the Regulatory Code and the NHF Code on Governance (target met)
- Set up Area Boards and establish an annual LMH Board Members Conference of all Board and Area Board members (target met)
- Establish and train Board Champions in their areas (target met)
- Implement Individual and 'whole Board' Training Plans based upon Board appraisals (target met)
- Establish arrangements for 'open' membership (target met)
