When the terms of the injunction were breached we went back to court for an extension and served a notice seeking possession of the property where the culprit lived. As a result, the tenant concerned has now agreed to work with support services to address their family's unacceptable behaviour.

A group of Youths have been causing anti social behaviour in the West area. Police, the local Councillors and the LMH team and residents have worked together to try and resolve this, and last week 5 youths signed 'Acceptable Behaviour Contracts' .
These Contracts outline the things the youths cannot do, and things they must do. If they do not abide by the agreements they have signed, they can be issued with 'Anti-social Behaviour Orders ( ASBO's) , and if they disobey the ASBO's they can be put in custody.
The youth's parents accompanied them to theLocal Police station to sign the Contracts, and those that are LMH tenants have received letters telling them that such behaviour by their sons , is a breach of their tenancy conditions. They were warned that they can be evicted if their sons contiue to cause anti social behaviour.
LMH and the Police, residents and Councillors will continue to monitor the activites of the youths involved and take futher action if they break the Acceptable Behaviour Contract.
