Free travel scheme
LMH are working in partnership with the Stepclever Travel Team who are currently offering free travel advice and information for residents who live and work in the Anfield, Everton, County and Kirkdale wards. The aim of the team is to reduce the barriers that may exist in accessing employment and training opportunities. They are offering support and advice on a number of issues that could be preventing people from finding work. Here are some details of their scheme:
- Help with Travel Expenses – financial assistance with travel costs for the first month of employment or training.
- Personalised Journey Plan – a guide on how to reach your workplace detailing bus or train routes with running times and how long your journey will take.
- Stepclever Wheels – a low rental cycle to work hire scheme which will enable the user to travel the green and healthy way.
