Substance Misuse Support
NACRO Merseyside Substance Misuse Support, Liverpool.
This service is enabling people with a history of substance misuse to secure accommodation, maintain their tenancies and develop the skills they need to maintain or work towards a programme of abstinence and improve their life opportunities.
Nacro's Floating Support Team will work with Service Users to create a support plan tailored to their own individual needs.
Support may be provided in the Service User's own home or in any other venue agreed between the Service User and their Project Worker.
The service works with users to identify areas of concern and facilitate the development of the skills and knowledge necessary to enable them to deal with those issues for themselves.
There is no cost to for this service, which is funded via Liverpool City Council's Supporting People Programme.
