Improvement programme
LMH is committed to delivering over £380m of major improvements in our first five years. This investment will play a major role in delivering the customer promises we made in the offer document.
Our customers helped us to identify the priorities for investment works across all areas. This information was used, together with an independent assessment on the condition of homes, to develop our detailed improvement programme.
The five year programme is being developed and revised on a year-by-year basis and it will consider and include every LMH property throughout the city.

Looking ahead to Year 2
The works programmes for Year 1 concentrated on areas prioritised by our customers during pre-transfer consultation.
These programmes have included new windows and external doors, new heating systems for properties with no central heating and structural work.
These priorities still apply and we are pleased to announce that both the window and the heating programmes will be completed ahead of schedule during Year 2.

Structural repairs to properties will continue throughout the programme. The largest single area where this work is taking place is Daneville which has approximately 600 properties. This work is due to be completed by the end of 2009.
