This video was written and developed by a number of our residents detailing their experience of living within our schemes and the benefits it has brought to them.
The Sheltered Housing Service is committed to changing stereotypical images that may still persist in certain areas, of this type of housing consisting of groups of older, disengaged residents sitting around a large room staring at a flickering TV in the corner.
The reality is in fact quite different with busy, active communities taking part in a range of projects which encourage healthy, active lifestyles with a strong emphasis on involvement and community engagement.
