This policy has been developed to embed safeguarding practices and procedures throughout the LMH Group and to support the creation of a safer culture by reinforcing the safeguarding and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults who use our services.

The LMH Group recognises its responsibility to contribute to the safeguarding of the children, young people and adults that it works with, and to act on any concerns when someone is at risk of abuse.  Everyone who works with children, young people and vulnerable adults has a responsibility for promoting their welfare and keeping them safe, and all of our staff, volunteers, Board members and Trustees will help us to deliver this through identifying concerns, sharing information and taking prompt and appropriate action.

The LMH Group Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults Policy applies to all our staff, volunteers, sessional workers, Board members, Trustees and anyone else working on behalf of the LMH Group.
