Creating Practical Employment Opportunities

Liverpool Mutual Homes is now delivering the ILM Access to Work programme, which creates practical employment opportunities for young people aged between 16 and 29.

Access to Work offers six-month work experience placements across a number of sectors. Trainees are paid National Minimum Wage and may have the opportunity to take part in both vocational and accredited training - giving them the skills they need to kick-start a successful career.

At the end of the six months, trainees have an opportunity to extend employment with their placement company.

The criteria to qualify for the programme are:

  • Resident of Liverpool City Region
  • 16 to 29 years old
  • Not in employment, education or training

New placements are coming through all the time, from General Construction Operative to Trainee Fitness Instructor and Trainee Social Media Executive. These are available both within and outside Liverpool Mutual Homes.

If you would like to apply and register your interest in future opportunities, please call LMH Connect on 0800 678 1894 and ask for the Community Regeneration Team or email regenerationteam@liverpoolmh.co.uk
