Investing in our current homes

Torus are committed to improving the environment and helping tenants enjoy warm, comfortable homes.  Our ongoing investment to our existing homes to ensure that our customers save money on their bills, tackle fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.

In 2019/20 we invested £17.1m in modernising and refurbishing existing homes.  By 2019 we had carried out 43,399 installations in our properties, reducing carbon emissions by 25,095 tons per year.  These installations include:

As well as our ongoing improvements to our homes to make them greener, warmer and cheaper to run, we are keen to investigate new and innovative solutions to reduce energy usage, lower carbon emissions, reduce energy bills and save our customers money.  Here are a few of our projects:
